Chet has been working crazy hours lately so the girls and I soak up every minute we have with him. Here's the girls playing with their Dad.

Family Pics...

Alright folks, it's official- I am FINALLY caught up on blogging! If you haven't visited for a few days then just know that I have posted quite a few posts recently so you might have to click on "older posts" at the bottom. So now on to some of my favorites from family pictures we had taken recently with my family:

We wanted to do a "jumping" photo- the results were hilarious!
You can tell who the old ones are- they can't even get there feet off the ground! ;) Hee hee!

How the cool kids eat...

She started eating like this- just picking pieces out of the bowl and apparently that wasn't working for her...
Because then she finished her meal this way. It's probably faster to eat this way anyhow!
Madi said she wanted to try too...and luckily I talked her out of it!

Noise Park Motocross

My brother Ken has loved motorcycles basically forever- riding them, fixing them, wrecking on them, everything. So, naturally he passed the love on to his two kids, Taylor and Faith. During the summer they have practices and races at Noise Park, outside of Idaho Falls (Yeah, who knew? Not me!) so Chet and I were finally able to make it out to watch a couple of their last races.
Taylor coming off a jump
After his race I made him pose- he loved that, not! He is getting too old, I am losing my "aunt power" over him! Ü
Faith getting pumped up for her race

And, of course, their dad had to get in on the fun too. Watching the races made Chet want to do it too so he asked Ken what group he races against and Ken's response was, "the old man group!"

Miscellaneous Moments...

Madi spilled something on her shorts so she went in and get herself some new pants. She told me that those pants match her shirt because they both have stripes. Hmm..I will take that from a nearly 3 year old but in a couple of years we will have to work on that!
I can't remember the last time that Meg had a bath by herself- which is totally fine they love playing together in the tub. I thought I would have to worry about Madi splashing Meg too much the first time she climbed in with her but it usually plays out with me trying to tell a 10 month old to stop splashing her sister!
Madi loves to go in and say good morning as soon as she hears that Meg is awake.
I used to be Jade's (the dog) favorite- until I had babies- now she cuddles up next to Chet. And yeah, she put herself in that position, not Chet.

More Camping...

More pics from another camping trip with some friends...
Chet bought a fishing pole for Madi and she was so excited to figure out how to use it!

Meg was crawling by this time so she was all over the place.
And when she wasn't crawling on the floor she was playing in the playpen.

Butikofer Campout 2012...

We had our annual Butikofer Family Campout in July in Island Park. Our theme was Arabian Nights and, as always, we had a blast!

The kids did a lot of swimming of course! Taylor, Faith, Brinley
Mason and his Momma
Me with my nephew, The Masonator!
Madi took this pic of Megan so it's surprising that Meg isn't smiling- usually she gets a huge grin when Madi is coming towards her!
Good Morning Phyllis Diller! This kids hair is always out of control- but it is extreme in the morning!
Madi had her first boat/tube ride on Grandpa Blakely's boat- she loved it!
Madi and her Dad riding in the tube
Just chillin on the boat
We set up a play tent for all the little kids so they could atleast spend a little time crawling around without being in the dirt! In this pic: Meg, Madi, Bailee, Teri, Brigham, Erin
My niece, Faith and Madi- playing on Grandpa's hammock
In honor of our Arabian Nights theme we had camel races- a.k.a. camel races- although there weren't very many people who actually attempted to make there cars look like camels- the cheaters! Ü It was still a lot of fun though!
Faith's camel and Madi's Magic Carpet
Chet's camel car racing against Uncle Kelley's non-camel, non-pinewood derby car- I am totally saying that's the only reason he won! ;)
Chet with his camel- he did a pretty good job at making it look like a camel!
Family Night- We dress up according to our theme and have a big family dinner together.
Paul, Bailee, Brigham, Erin, Dad, Mom, Taylor, Ken, Maria, Faith, Teri, Gavin, Cody, Chloe, Chet, Mason, Madi, Karen, Meg
I don't really know why my husband always ends up looking like a cross dresser! I had a totally different outfit for him and he still ended up in a girl costume!
Mason's dad tied him to the water faucet pole and Faith was standing guard
Meg and her buddies- the twins. Brigham and Bailee are 3 months older then Megan
And of course, we spent a lot of time just hanging out by the camp fire, roasting marshmallows, telling stories and talking- I love my family!
Madi loved that she got to stay up late and eat marshmallows every night!
